Zeitgeist meets tradition

The Egerner Alm mountain cabin is a creative and highly original reinvention of the traditional alpine cottage, based on an existing 18th century model, and comes with all modern comforts. Expanded to suit modern space requirements and living habits, it nevertheless recreates an ancient Bavarian style of dwelling with great authenticity. Materials for its construction were assembled exclusively from the region – such as Tegernsee marble and woods from the Bavarian forests – and processed according to the traditional way of our forefathers. Today, guests are delighted by two spacious suites with two bedrooms each, two lovingly furnished bathrooms, a cosy snuggery with tiled stove, and the south-facing terrace commanding terrific views onto the surrounding mountains.
